Starbucks 26615 Ford Rd, Dearborn Heights Highly recommend for an enjoyable night in. Plus, a $4.99 delivery fee, and it's only $24. Delivered to my door, very quickly (fifth time ordering) and always piping hot. If that didn't sell you, imagine this: large, hand cut pizza, extremely fresh, two toppings, extra cheese, cheese bread, marinara, and ranch. Never symmetrical, always puffy, oozing with delicious mozzarella, and topped with garlic butter/parmesan. Even the garlic cheese bread doesn't look manufactured like the rest. Of all the chains out there, it surprisingly has been taking the lead for me. It has a very large yeasty crust, mozzarella (like you see in the commercials) and a solid "bar pizza" flavor. You can instantly tell the pizza is hand made. I wasn't the biggest fan of it growing up, but they've obviously made some changes. I can honestly say that Marco's pizza is a solid choice. I've tried many pizza places, and had a lot of ups and downs. Working as a sous chef for several years under a classically trained French chef, I've learned what's good, and what's not. Marco's Pizza 4019 Pelham St, Dearborn Heights Breast was crispy and moist but lacked seasonings in the meat itself. Wing was tender ,crispy and fell apart when bit. Not the best I've ever had and definitely not the worst. Coleslaw was super finely chopped and almost like mush, but flavor was good. Tender and fresh but super hot beware as the are cooked to order. Needless to say the flavor was decent and the shrimp to breading ratio was balanced. Came with 6 pieces of shrimp that were or looked and tasted store bought. Ordered a breast and wing ,which is $1 extra but fine. Ordered the chicken and shrimp combo, it also came with two sides. Ordered drinks and began looking around as the place had an old feel to it. Seated our selves and was quickly approached by waitress with drink request and a menu. Chicken 6000 N Telegraph Rd, Dearborn HeightsĬan't quite describe the vibe of this place.
